Lego & Unifix Alphabet Fun Play from Learning Through Playing
Simple Alphabet Play Idea
I wanted to do a quick and simple set up for alphabet play today! However, I wanted to try a new angle for Liam since he isn’t really into a lot of the ways I have presented the alphabet. Apparently I need to make them multi-dimensional so I added the trucks to hold the blocks (recyclables) and after he did a letter or a page of two letters he would clean them up with the truck and “recycle them”. Once the truck was full it would have to make a delivery to drop off more so we could continue. He really liked this and although I had to sit with him, I did not have to prompt him at all. Liam happily did each letter of the alphabet. We even traced each letter first with our fingers. What a win for today! Love using what we have around the house.
