~Pixie is 32 months old~

Totschooling and preschooling need not be an expensive exercise.  There are many activities that can be made by recycling household items, like our pompom fine motor skill activity.  This week I decided to make Pixie her very own Discovery Box.  They can be rather pricy to purchase and I have been wanting to a Eye Spy Bag, but the import costs and the Rand/Dollar exchange makes it way to expensive.  As an alternative I decided to make this Discovery Box instead.  It is a round container that the girls’ hair bands came in and I used packaging tape to seal and strengthen it. She loves it, though she was rather frustrated in the beginning that she couldn’t get her fingers into the rice and remove the beads, LOL.
