I am a member of a Facebook group called Montessori Moms (link below the post) and these mommas have the most amazing list of resources that were just begging to be put into one, easily accessible, place.

Below you will find a list of all the resources the ladies have put together over the years.

Helpful Sites and blog posts: (where, how and when to start etc)

This site has tons and tons of Montessori style ideas and printables (mostly free). I've added links to the different sections I use the most below.

MONSTERS ED SPECIAL
montessoriathomebookcover
If you are looking for a practical, all inclusive guide / book on how to do Montessori at home (especially for the 3 to 6 year age group) then John Bowman is definitely on top of the list. His books are practical and offer lots of photos, links, free resources, what Montessori equipment to buy and what other toys to use in place of Montessori equipment, as well as good tablet apps. His books are easy to read and definitely my go-to resource. What I really like about his books is that he uses a lot of items we have in the house to teach kids. So there is not a big expense and a need to go all out and blow your budget on Montessori equipment.

The Montessori at Home e-book is available with a bundle of printables from Montessori Print Shop

John was kind enough to offer Monsters Ed readers a discount: CLICK HERE

John’s other books are also very practical, easy to read and available on Kindle:

Please feel free to leave a comment with Montessori links you have found helpful and I will add them to the directory.

Building my own curriculum for pre-school

This post may contain affiliate links which help support my family. Thank you for stopping by.

I’m in the process of researching and building my own pre-school curriculum for Koko and Fifi.  I’m started collecting Lapbooks (see the links in the resources on the right of your screen) and I’m also busy collecting activity ideas from a variety of websites and books.  As I come across activities that I like, I’ll post the link in the resources section on this blog, so keep an eye out for updates.
