Featured ~ Edukits – Africa Continent Kit

I bought Noo the Africa Continent Kit a while ago to go with our monthly themes. We used it for the first time this week.

The aim of the kit is to teach your child about the continent of Africa, its people and cultures as well as the natural resources found there. The kit came with a styrofoam sheet with the continent of Africa and little flags on tooth pics to match with the countries (this is not yet available for sale).

Noo Loves the flag activity. He has asked to learn about the Democratic Republic of Congo and Nigeria. He is fascinated by Nigeria for some reason, LOL and this kit has helped him so much in terms of placing the countries on the continent.

I highly recommend this kit as a resource when learning about Africa. The booklet that came with the kit is full of useful information.

From next week I’m going to try to make the kidlets’ lunches a little more “bento like”. I’m going to have to buy some really cool new tools and odds and ends, but that’s ok, that can be bought over time.
