Pixie has been begging to go to the zoo for quite sometime, so finding some zoo resources seemed like the best next Freebie Friday post. With our summer holidays finally here, what better way than to spend it outside. My favourite find is the second freebie listed below. Enjoy a few of my favourite Zoo finds below.
FREE Animal Report Form Printable from 123 Homeschool 4 Me
Help kids learn about various animals, where they live, their habitat, classification, and more with these fun FREE Animal Report Form Printable.
My idea behind the Animal Report Form Printable is that kids would do a report on an animal from each of the animal classes. They can then add one of the 3 cover choices (one color and two black and white for your student to color). This way kids would not only learn about a variety of animals, but would also have a grasp about the different classifications animals are divided up into. There are individual Animal Report Forms with descriptions for the following Animal Classifications:
Bird Class
Fish Class
Amphibian Class
Reptile Class
Mammal Class
Insect Class
Crustacean Class
Mollusks Class
There is also a sheet for children to write down several examples of each classification to get a quick at-a-glance understanding on how they are broken down.
