Happy Monday friends. This week’s printable spotlight is a playful themed pack that little learners are going to love. The African Animals Preschool Activity Pack is a 37 page Mega Pack designed to introduce preschoolers to the wonderful world of African animals while supporting early learning through hands on, engaging activities. With friendly illustrations and warm, earthy colours inspired by the African savannah, this pack is both educational and visually inviting.

The African Animals theme is perfect for preschoolers who enjoy learning about animals while practising foundational skills. Each page has been carefully designed to balance structure with play, helping children build confidence as they explore new concepts.
Inside the pack, children begin with colour recognition activities where they colour animals such as leopards using a variety of colours including blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, brown, grey, black, red and pink. These pages are excellent for developing fine motor skills while reinforcing colour names in a familiar and repetitive format.
Early numeracy is introduced through counting activities where children circle zebras from 1 to 10. These worksheets support number recognition, one to one correspondence and visual scanning, all while keeping the African Animals theme front and centre. There is also a sweet “Draw a picture of yourself” page where children can write their age, adding a personal and confidence boosting touch.
Shape tracing worksheets guide preschoolers through tracing circles, triangles, rectangles, squares, pentagons, ovals and hexagons. These activities are ideal for building pre writing skills and early shape awareness. A colour by number page adds variety while reinforcing number recognition in a fun way.
The pack also introduces animal vocabulary with African animal cards featuring animals such as the oryx antelope, elephant, fennec fox, hippopotamus, leopard, lion, ostrich, rhinoceros and zebra. Letter learning is gently supported through Do a Dot pages like O is for Oryx antelope, giving children a tactile and playful way to interact with letters.
Additional activities include matching and shadow matching, size sequencing, pattern completion, pre writing line tracing, counting to 20 and counting to 50 charts, and a roll a scene activity that encourages creativity and storytelling. To round things off, preschoolers can enjoy jigsaw puzzles in 9 and 16 piece versions, as well as simple line mazes featuring African animals.
Many of the pages are ideal for printing on cardstock and laminating, making this African Animals Preschool Activity Pack a practical resource for repeated use at home or in the classroom.
If your little learner enjoys colourful, hands on activities, this pack is a lovely addition to your learning time.
Have a wild and wonderful learning week with your little monsters.
