Freebie Friday ~ Kindergarten Nativity Pack **Limited offer**

This post may contain affiliate links which help support my family. Thank you for stopping by.

Last week I shared 4 new Monsters Ed Christmas Preschool Mini Packs. Today’s freebie, the Kindergarten Nativity Pack**, focuses on the Christmas Story, using characters from the birth of Jesus.

I have always pulled my Packs into lapbook style booklets to make it easier for the children to manage the activities and keeps everything centralised in one easy to store place. This also makes it easier to store in plastic sleeves for filing, or envelopes. I’ve included a video below of the lapbook I created for our little friend, Rori.

This 21 page Kindergarten Nativity pack contains the following activities:
– Complete the Pattern
– 7 Do-a-Dot Pages
– Number recognition peg activity
– Concertina Name Book
– Roll a Nativity Scene
– Colouring Page
– Colour by Number Page
– Shadow Matching

**Please note that this Nativity Pack will be free for a limited time**

You’re a Mean one, Mr Grinch Wordsearch from Pages of Puzzles

“Youre A Mean One, Mr Grinch” was written for the 1966 “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” movie. Whether you’re a fan of the movie or not, the lyrics (written by Dr. Seuss himself) have made the song a popular non-typical Christmas song.

Enjoy singing along as you search for words and phrases from this classic Christmas song … mean one, Mr. Grinch, a heels, cuddly as, a cactus, charming, as an eel, bad banana, greasy, black peel, foul one, nasty wasty, skunk, heart is full, unwashed socks, your soul, full of gunk, three words, describe you, follows, I quote, stink, stank, and stunk.

Printable Grinch Coloring Pages Ideas from ColoringFolder

Do you know who Grinch is? Well, he is a nicely fictional character that exists on the children’s book. The book is named How the Grinch Stole Christmas. He has a funny appearance and looks like an animal. With a funny appearance, there are some people, especially children, who like him. With a funny look, it is good for you to make it a line art to give to your children. With his amusement, your children will be happy to have Grinch coloring pages to accompany their free time.

To provide the pages, you need to find the printable Grinch images first. After that, you can make a line art to color based on the images you have.

So, just give this kind of funny pages to your children so that they can get close to it.

Christmas Mad Libs from Woo Jr

The Grinch Who Stole Christmas Coloring Pages from Woo Jr

The Grinch is absolutely one of my favorite Christmas TV specials. The other day my husband even made fun of me because I turned it on – after the kids had already gone to bed! I’m not the only one who loves this holiday special – it’s one of the few entries on Rotten Tomatoes that has a 100% Fresh rating. It also won an Emmy for the song “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to draw up a new set of coloring pages for Woo! Jr., so these Grinch coloring pages are just as much of a treat for me as they are for you!

If you know of any Grinch freebies, please leave a comment below with the link. I’d love to add a few more pins to our Dr Seuss Pinterest Board.

‘Twas the Night Before Christmas- I Have Who Has {Freebie} from Created by MrHughes on Teachers Pay Teachers
Freebie Friday - Christmas Activities
Who hasn’t heard the classic poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas” by Clement C. Moore?

This fun and interactive activity will have your students begging to play again and again as they try to beat their best time by reading fluently and more quickly each time.

The poem has been divided into 28 cards in an “I have, Who Has” fashion. Students will have to listen carefully as they only get the 3 or 4 words in the poem ahead of their lines. I have also listed several alternate ways to enjoy the included cards.

I used this activity for over ten years in my classroom, and my students loved it every year. I am offering it as a free resource as my Holiday gift to you! Happy Holidays!

Five Little Reindeer – Christmas Emergent Reader for Students from Learn a Latte on Teachers Pay Teachers
Freebie Friday - Christmas Activities
Check out this FREE emergent reader. My students love the poem, “Five Little Pumpkins,” so I created this Christmas version, Five Little Reindeer. With my prekinders and kindergarten students, we read this book together for shared reading several times, using the larger color copy available in my Five Little Reindeer – Christmas Math & Literacy Fun set. We point out the sight words we know, talk about how the text matches the pictures and how we can use the pictures to help us figure out unfamiliar words, practice reading fluently, act out the story with students pretending to be the reindeer, and do lots of fun reindeer activities. We also use the book for guided reading in small groups. After reading the book several times together, the students color the black and white copies and practice reading their books together and independently. By this point, they are very familiar with the text and love reading it all by themselves! 🙂

Please check out my Christmas sets, Five Little Reinder – Christmas Math & Literacy Fun. This set includes a larger color copy of the Five Little Reindeer book with high quality graphics and LOTS of great reindeer math and literacy activities including color words, number words, sight words, counting sets, writing numbers, a reindeer glyph and much more! I also have a new Christmas set, Christmas Literacy Centers & Activities, that provides student practice with syllables, rhyming, beginning sounds, and short vowels.
