Homeschool Planners

We have just completed our 11th year of homeschooling! Can you believe it? I can’t. I have been using homeschooling planners throughout this time. I’m a firm believer that failing to plan, is planning to fail. Here are a few free homeschool planners.

Middle and High School Planners Printables for Homeschool from Homeschool Creations
Homeschool Planners
Now I don’t know about you, but despite my best intentions, I seem to always forget something that has already been purchased, curriculum ideas for upcoming years, or what may already be on our bookshelves to use for our younger children. Sticky notes and random sheets of paper just don’t cut it, so the Middle and High School Planner pages were put together to make life a little easier for myself overall. (And let’s face it, these are a lot prettier than the random sheets of notebook paper that were accumulating in my binder).

Free Homeschool Planners-Poppies from Wife. Mom. Homeschool Life

This Free Homeschool Planner is a downloadable pdf file for printing. You will not receive a physical copy in the mail.

The Poppies Planner is a more traditional planner. Full of beautiful watercolor poppy images.

Free Homeschool Planner – 20-page Update Added! from Homeschool Den
Homeschool Planners
This afternoon, I added in about 20 new pages to our free Homeschool Planner. I have been adding to this file for ages because I change up my own homeschool planner frequently! This Homeschool Planner pdf is now well over 125+ pages!

Recently, I’ve been printing out two pages for each week. One is a grid with 9 areas where I can jot down some notes about each subject area… and the other has the days Monday through Friday. I’ve used some cute clipart for each week. I added all those planning pages to the Homeschool Planner.

Free Charlotte Mason Printables & Updates! from A Humble Place
Homeschool Planners
For those who are subscribed to my mailing list, I sent out a new-old, free download for you a few weeks ago! I actually offered these printables for a month or two last summer, but as my list has grown since then, I thought I might offer them again to those who missed out the first time!

This time around you get three printables, including a PDF with all of Charlotte Mason’s 20 Principles as well as a page each for the List of Formidable Attainments for a Child of Six and What a Child Should Know at Twelve, all on a floral watercolor background. Feel free to print and hang on the wall of your homeschool area for inspiration, or keep them in a binder. I like to keep mine in the front of my homeschool binder where I keep all of our schedules, umbrella school documents, term overviews, etc.

Montessori Madness ~ Valentine’s Day Preschool Trays

Wow, its been quite some time since I’ve written of our Montessori adventures! Here is a sneak peak of Pixie’s Valentine’s Day Preschool TraysPreschool Trays this week.

I printed off two Preschool Packs from Over the Big Moon and A Teaching Mommy
VDayButtonvalentine-unit

I printed all the pages of both packs to keep Pixie occupied for the duration of the week, and possibly longer (totally dependent on her level of interest and how much work she wants to do at the time, of course) and popped into a file folder. I loved the cover of the Valentine’s day Pack from Over the Big Moon so much that I decided to use it on the cover of the file folder to make it easier for Pixie to identify. She will often grab a file folder with her previous themes and redo some of the activities.

Her trays today have the following printables available:

Valentine’s Day Spelling from Over the Big Moon. This particular activity requires Scrabble like tiles, we unfortunately don’t have any she can used (we have a collectors Scrabble set, so that’s a no go), so I just printed off two sets of the recommended tiles they suggested on the original file.

V is for Valentine Do-a-dot painting from Over the Big Moon. Pixie L.O.V.E.S. her dot painters and this page excited her to no end when she saw it come out of the printer.

What comes next worksheet from Over the Big Moon. I cut out the pictures for Pixie to glue onto the worksheet. I’ll be letting her cut them out from now on. Some scissor practice won’t hurt.
IMG_1454

Letter Hh sorting from A Teaching Mommy. Here she sorts the capital from the lower case letters into the appropriate box.

In addition to the activities above, we’ll be using our new Spielgaben 4.0 set! (Post on all our Spielgaben fun coming soon!)

Follow us on Instagram to catch us in action during this week of L.O.V.E.
