I am the most unorganised person you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. I make lists to help me stay organised and even then I don’t always get everything done. So this year, I decided that I was going to suck it up and get things done when they are due and stop procrastinating. Easier said than done, might I add. Old habits die hard.

I decided to find a Blog Planner, but everything I found that I liked was year specific. I decided that I was going to create my own planner that can be used every year. I love how it came out and decided to add it to my TPT online store.
The download includes:
*Cover Page
*Clearly marked dividers for each section
*Events and Holidays sheet
*Affiliate Program information sheet
*Weekly Blog Planner calendar
*Weekly Blog Maintenance sheet
*Monthly Blog Planning Check List
*Monthly Blog Planner calendar
*Giveaway and Review information sheet
*Future Blog Post Ideas sheet
*Collaboration information sheet
*Blog Post Brainstorming sheet
*Blog Finance sheet
*Blog Sponsorship information sheet
*Blog Statistics and Analytics Sheet

Planning: 2013/2014 Planning and Preparation File

2013/2014 Planning and Prep File

This year I started the new school year all prepared and ready for the year. I think for the first time ever I’m really prepared for everything that needs to be done this coming year.

I decided to take a Flip File and make a planning binder to keep all my thing together. I usually put everything into our curriculum box and end up searching every time I need to do my admin.

My Manual, Daily Activity Record, Administration Guide and the new Planning and Preparation File are kept in this plastic file box next to the bookshelf by my desk. My check lists get updated at the end of every week. Its working really well for me so far and I’m feeling so much more organised and less stressed than I have since we started homeschooling 5 years ago.

This is what’s in the Planning and Preparation File

Koko finished Grade R in the middle of August and I since been busy sorting out our school area and new school routine. Our curriculum arrived yesterday and I am quite chuffed that I can now officially get started on planning our first term, which starts on October 1st.

Over the years, we have had Circle Time. The past year, though, we have been doing it less and less and eventually stopped doing it altogether. I am in the process of reworking our school schedule for the new school year and I’ve planned our Circle Time as follows:
